Biddy & Cousy Basketball

The 2018-19 Biddy Basketball Program is a volunteer organization that sponsors a basketball program for boys living in the city of Shelton.

Mitey Mites: Grades 2-3

The Mitey Mite Program for boys in grades 2 and 3 is an instructional basketball league. Teams will play once or twice a week.

Biddy Basketball: Grades 4-7

• Junior Varsity League is for boys in grades 4 and 5. Teams usually play two games per week.

• Varsity League is for boys in grades 6 and 7. Teams will play once or twice per week.

Cousy Basketball: Grades 8-12

• Junior Cousy is for boys in grades 8 and 9. Teams usually play two games per week

• Senior Cousy is for boys in grades 10-12. Teams usually play two games per week. *Senior Cousy Starts in December

REGISTRATION: at the Shelton Community Center, 41 Church Street

• Saturday, September 22: 9am-12pm

• Wednesday, September 26: 6-8pm

• Tuesday, October 2: 6-8pm

Registration Fees for Mitey-Mite, Biddy, Junior Cousy, & Sr Cousy:

• $75 for the 1st child

• $65 for the 2nd child

• $55 for each additional child

An adult must accompany all children and first time players need to bring their birth certificate.

Program volunteers will be available to answer questions.

Due to limited gym time, enrollment in each division will be limited. Please sign up early!

Travel Teams: Players who make the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade Travel Teams have the option of playing or not playing the recreation games, however, there is still a $75 fee for the recreation program, which is used towards uniforms and gym time.

A late fee of $15 will be assessed for anyone signing up after the last scheduled registration date. 

**No refunds given once the 1st game has been played in the player's division.
